Avis has launched a new mobile site for the Singapore market, m.avis.com.sg, allowing customers to search for car hire quotes and book direct from their mobile phone.

The mobile site is a replica of the existing Avis Singapore website but has been simplified for the small screen. It also offers customers the ability to check and alter existing bookings and find a local Avis branch.

“Online trends show how the mobile channel has evolved into a strong and effective sales distribution alternative, particularly for Singapore,” said Joerg A. Kossich, General Manager of Avis Singapore.
